m analogs came with red needles and non m had white needles

and if I am correcnt the marking for the Hour and so on are red as well, not sure sure on that but I know the needles are red

So, I dig out the clock and have a good look at it.
There's a slight problem. One of the snaps on the cover plate is missing. There are 4 of them, one in each corner as seen in the picture (the pic is of a different clock). Consequently the plate may not be flush with the dash when installed unless kluged.

How many Ms came with an analog clock. A ton of guys on eBay just take the face off and paint the needles red.

Faces come off so easy. How many M's no idea, but I imagine anyone that was on a budget or wanted a stripped car.
