I want to by a momo hub. I have a air bagged car so I hear that I need a spacer is that right?

Yeah you would need the spacer under the 22mm nut so you can tighten the wheel down. Otherwise you would run out threads. I have a hub adapter, with momo wheel, bmw center horn button and a 1" spacer which will give more room between the steering wheel and stalks. I was a cheaper and easier fix than replacing the stalks with non air bags stalks.
