I have an stock eberspeacher. Still sounded great before the motor was pulled out. Probably has about 170k. No holes, just a little lose stuff in the muffler. But it still sounded good. PM me if interestedComment

I have my exhaust from my 1991 318is, everything behind the cat with the factory muffler that has a nicer exhaust tip welded to it. I have the CAT too. I was planning on selling it to scrappers (the cat that is).
