3.73 LSD differential in NorCal

My 3.73 rear end whines like a new born baby. I paid top dollar for this shit with the promise that it was in good shape. Well shit somebody lied and karma will bite someone in the ass, that's for shit sure. At any rate, I need a well behaved in good shape 3.73 LSD in the Bay Area ideally. I did the same thing when I bought mine. My problem actually turned out to be my rear wheel bearings.
Have you made sure that your wheel bearings are good?
I'm trying to find a 3.25 LSD or a 3.23 LSD that will work. And then I'll have my 3.73 for sale

The quality of the whine doesn't change when going over bumps or increasing/decreasing the load on the rear wheel. The noise clearly comes from the middle of the car not one wheel or another. I don't detect a play in my wheels when raised in the air. It's really pointing towards a bad diff...
