      two door or four door? I should have an early left hand belt (they may be the same coupe versus sedan too, not sure.)

          Mine is a two door. Looks like coupe/sedan have different part numbers...

              I know I have what you need, but I assume you need the entire belt and female receiver? If so, I'd sell you the driver's side out of my '87 325is with 105k miles on it for $27 shipped. PM me if interested and I can send pictures. - AB
