WTT an E30 for your 2002 project car

Id like to trade an 85 325e that Ive got layin around for a 2002 of any kind as long as its restorable/repairable. (yes I still have this f-ing thing...its like herpes...i just cant get rid of it)

Heres what I have. Its an 85 325e as I mentioned earlier. Its got 197k on the clock but a newer motor of unknown mileage. It is an automatic and the tranny thats in the car doesnt currently go into reverse. It DOES come with another replacement automatic that came out of a good running car. The car runs well and drives. It has a steering shimmy so will need control arm bushings or tie rods. Has a tan interior with sport seats. It has some damage to the pass. rear wheel arch and has a baseball sized dent in the drivers front fender. The pics pretty much show everything. Let me know if you have any questions and have a 2002 to trade for it. Ive seen some rolling chassis later model 2002 projects selling for anywhere from 300-800bucks and thats approximatly the type of thing im looking to trade for.

This would make for a decent base for a racecar project or with some minor work a cheap beater. My plan was to cover up the damage wheel arch was to get a set of IE flares.

good luck. not sure what condition '02 you are looking for. 300-800 will get you something really rusty unless you luck out big time, especially being in CT.

i lucked out at 1200 for a basket case which isnt too rusty.

Im pretty handy with a welder so im not TOO worried ;) . Rust is definately a given no matter what in that price range. Like I stated in the original post as long as its fixable I dont really care. I just want to get rid of this E30 and may as well pick up another project if I can.
