Early Upper radiator 'hold down' (?)

I keep seeing engine bay shots where there is this plastic (looks like plastic) hold down piece that is on top of the radiator, connecting to the chassis. I have the holes I'd assume it screws into, but not the part itself.

This is only in 88+ cars. What year/model do you have?

it's an 87 model, was purchased in 86....

well I had no idea, I assumed all e30's came with them and that mine got thrown out by some dumb indie changing a radiator.

Yeah, the earlier cars have 1 mount on each side of the radiator that bolts to the radiator support directly.
