    Rear Plastic bumper shocks

I just need a single shock, but will buy a pair.

Sold a spare rear bumper w/ 2 shocks attached because I didn't have an impact wrench handy. Apparently a shop couldn't get them off for the guy so here I am in need of bumper shocks.

Alternatively if the bumper shocks on an 88 metal bumper are the same as the plastic bumper 88+ then I don't need any.

    Let me know.

    Thanks

They are not. But I'd like to buy your metal bumper shocks. We're they tucked?

88 metal bumper cars are "tucked" from the factory I thought. I'm pretty sure the 88' bumpers don't stick out as far as the pre-88.

mmmm... yes. They are different part numbers. Pretty sure 88' metal bumpers don't stick out as far.

          Part number 14 in both.

I had an '89 w/ DBs. They were loud and proud, not tucked.

Different part numbers does not mean different dimensions. Now you got me looking more into it. I am trying to swap mine to plastics but the plastic bumper shocks for the rear dont make for good alignment. I have a desire to try mounting the plastic bumper with DB shocks.
