Late model rear bumper bracket

I'm looking for the exact following bracket.

I purchased it new from ecs but the one that came (and also all reference pics online )looks different and doesn't fit.even though they share the same part number (Channel is about 1/4 inch narrower on new bracket vs. than the original bracket. I'm not sure if it was superseded. But I need the one pictured
