NEED that FELT (11211744601) ring for an auto to manual swap

Im looking for part number 11211744601. BMW doesn't make it anymore. I asked everyone. Help?

the thing behind 11211744342 "covering cap"...
Which actually looks like it was installed outside the pilot bearing in this photo as opposed to behind it. Is this correct?

you only need it if you have an unsealed pilot bearing

you probably have a sealed pilot bearing so you don't need it

yeah, i have read that. I want to believe. I also don't want to do this twice. ;)Does anyone recall opening up a 11/89 or newer transmission to find a sealed pilot bearing without these parts? What about the orientation? The picture available on realoem is of a dual mass flywheel...but either way, those parts look like they should be behind the bearing, no? Isn't that different from what were seeing in the above photo?

The felt ring is on the outside of the bearing, inside the metal washer.

I have done many, many transmission installations, have never used one, and have never had an issue.
