Probably not quite what you're looking for, but I've got one that I assume to be of the eBay variety... "BMW Tuning - 0 261 200 175" is all it says on the chip. Probably "Racing Pros", as I cannot find anything else for a 175 DME. Brand new in the packaging. $30 delivered.

All the ones I've found on ebay seem to be for the non cat version of the M42. The fine print says disables O2. Does yours have any paperwork?

        Thanks

I've no paperwork, unfortunately. However, from reading about the E30 M42 chips for Bosch 175 DME (not the E36 990), it makes no notation of disabling the oxygen sensor. I can't find one with the exact same label as mine has, but I'm sure they change often, so I'm going to assume it's the "Racing Pros" chip.

I only found two different 175 generic chips on ebay, both from Moldvoa. This is the fine print:

CHIP TUNING 7200 rpm. Fits BMW e30 318is M42 with Bosch 0261200175 ECU.

Designated for STOCK and CUSTOM engines. Manual transmission. For automatic transmission please contact us.

Ignition changed, more torque at lower rpm + O2 sensor deleted/deactivated, speed limiter removed, max rpms increased.

If you could figure out if O2 is still active on yours, I would be interested.

            Thanks for your time.
