you can use any that fits a vehicle with roof gutters. I have a thule set that I had previously bought on craigslist that was for a vw or an e21. it fit my wrangler and my e30. the bars are just tubing that you trim to fit your application.

ebay always has the mounts fairly cheap and then you can get bars any time / length and cut to fit. its the fairing that is the most expensive part.

I know there is a set in Austin that is probably for sale. the guy I got my most recent e30 from had a set on it and offered it for 100 but I already had two sets so I passed. put an ad on craigslist and see if he offers. if I talk to him, I can tell him to put it on craigslist for you.

You may have to trim the length a bit. I had Thules for my Jeep Wrangler and then mounted them on my 325ix and I think I trimmed each bar about 1/2 foot or so.

Yeah, guess its an option. Not a huge fan about the no lock feature.

nothing gets stolen here, either. mine doesn't lock.

where do you live that you have to worry about them being stolen? over on the south side? I am in fb so no problem for me
