Nothing fancy; stock stuff is fine. Still doing some research into what I need exactly, but definitely need the front kick panel speakers.

Can anyone explain the difference between the standard sound package and the premium sound package?

Late model non premium sound had a bit of a tweeter cone built into the 5-1/4" speaker. Premium sound had a single cone mid and a separate tweeter in the rear deck enclosure or above the door panel up front.

Don't go stock. Go aftermarket. Audition some speakers at your local car stereo shop, and buy them there if they aren't totally overcharging for them.

I thought e34 speakers were the way to go if you had premium sound speakers already ?
