325iX Steering Rack

This is a little off topic, but I've been looking for a steering rack (for my 325iC) and I've noticed that the iX steering racks are almost the same price as the M3 ones. What makes them so different and so much more expensive?

I'm not too sure on the differences, but my guess would be a different design to clear the front axles or something along those lines.
