    WTB: Shocks & Springs (~$400)

Well its about time, and I'm embarassed that my car handles like a wet noodle, and I'm financially able to upgrade (to used parts, of course).

What I ideally want is Bilstein Sport Shocks & H&R Springs. Preferrably (much) less than 50k on them.
I drive a '90 325i sedan, so there shouldn't be any problems with usability of parts.

I figure springs go for about 100-150 an shocks for 250-300, so I'm looking to spend about $400.

    What I don't particularly want:
    Tokico's
    BavAuto springs
M3 Springs (unless you're a really good salesman)

    Thanks, guys.

Don't hate on tokicos if that all you can afford buy em', just don't buy the red shocks (thats what gave them a bad rep in the e30 world.) If you are tracking your car i wouldn't reccomend tokicos but for street use they are just great. they have nice (white) adjustable ones.

those are the Illuminas, right? Eh, I guess if I could get a good price on them, I'd spring on it (GET IT?) Howevever, if I'm throwing the cash out, I'd rather go for my first choices

yea i'm a cheap ass and bought some blue hp's $170 shipped with a lifetime warranty, that works for me.

best of luck in finding parts, there are usually a buncha people on here with RSM's fpr a good price.

I bought my KYB's and B+G springs new for about $300. Decent ride, at 25,000 miles, they still feel great. I have put over 100,000 miles on a set of KYB's before they died. The springs are a little tall in the back for me...would look hot on a late model.
