      i don't think i've ever found one in decent shape from a junkyard car, everyone is notchy.

        Mega dittos to that.


        They all seem to get tight/notchy in the rear u-joint. Blunt would probably get some use out of a tight one, but not a notchy one....................

          email nelson@usedbmwparts.com. I ordered one from him for my car. I was surprised at how well he packaged it and how smooth all of the joints were (no notch at all). Good price too. Much less than the $500+ to rebuild one.

          He's on the board somewhere around here.
