These are fairly inexpensive new from the dealer and I'm sure any paintshop will do it cheap, its always better to get new stuff.

anyone also knew a good place to get rust taken care of by this i mean cutting it out welding in a replacement piece than repainting?

The dealer will have them, not too expensive really. As for paint there is a 3 number code on your driver side strut tower with the name of your color and the 3 numbers. Thats your paintcode. If you're going to do it yourself, you could have a shop get it and just pay them for it.

As for rust, no idea really. Again I'm sure a reputable shop will do the work, but thats big money. Try and see if you have a come-to-you welder in the BMW community (try bimmerforums and search in your region).

That black thing in your trunk IS the rest of your brake duct, FYI. As for bodywork, there's a cheap guy right down the street from AVA. If you get a new brake duct you could just bring it to him and get it painted when he's doing your rust. I don't think the BMW has anything serious enough to warrant cutting and welding, it probably just needs to be sandblasted and redone. As for getting paint for yourself, you can get spray cans mixed up at Sanel, I wouldn't do your whole car with it but it's good for fixing shit.
