    Wtb: 26 11 1 434 254 Torsional Vibration Absorber

#3 in the photo. I'm looking for one that is in good/like new condition. No idea if they wear out or if they should only be purchased new. Looking to pay ~25 shipped??? Hoping someone has one laying around from a parts car.

If it matters the car was made in 7/88 incase there are different production dates.

I've got a couple of them laying around.

But, just curious as to why you need one?? There's no harm in leaving it off the car.

        Bret,
I don't know that I do need one but I have vibrations therefore i would think that the vibration absorber may help.... The car needs tires and a few bushings, not bad but it's a contributing factor. I just thought that it can't hurt to keep the car the way the engineers intended it to be (as I buy urethane bushings, springs, shocks & other... he he..)

Correct me if I'm wrong but you need to wrap those with a hose clamp and compress them if they are off the car. They expand over time which can lead to premature failure.

I have a good new giubo and a good one on the car so thank you but no thanks.

I'm not gonna claim to be an expert about these things- but in my experience, taking the vibration damper off has never contributed to any more vibration than with it installed.

If you have a vibration, it's probably not going to help to install one of these- better to find out what's causing the vibration, and address that, IMHO.

              Bret.
