    WTB: Shift Knob

    Im looking for a shift knob, factory is fine, mine just has a broken tab inside so it pops off easily and wobbles side to side... So yeah, factory or not, show me what ya got!

    20 bucks at the dealer, and you get the e46 rubber/plastic knob.....it sounds cheap but its really nice

      local dealer says the cheapest one they have is that style, but leather, and costs 65 bucks. lol. currently have the e46 rubber/plastic knob, came in my 91 318, but it wobbles and bothers me, lol

            If you want a really really nice knob contact doug whalen. whamac@msn.com trust me he made me one for my roadster and that knob goes in what ever car I happen to be driving well until I get another specifically made for the e30.

                I will get some tomorrow. The nice thing about Dougs Knobs is you can design it yourself. Mine has a polished top with the shift pattern then says //MRoadster in the center then the lower portion is brushed aluminum looks sexy ...oh also they are weighted.

                  Im really just looking for a knob that I can pick up for like 10 or 15 bucks... nothing special, just something that fits, looks decent and stays put. lol

                  PS: Doug Whalen like Whalen shift machine? Arent his knobs like $150? No thanks. lol

                          tried that, still moves side to side, like, it twists around in semi-circles. 40-50 is out of the current price range, lookin for stock.
