    E30 convertible Hardtop

Searching for a hardtop for my 89 BMW vert.

Please let me know if you have one for sale or know where I can find one.

    Thanks!

    Will

There is a parts company, I think is in PA. They sell entire cars on ebay in "parts" section. They had one up a week ago with a hardtop on it. There is also sometimes one on ebay froma private seller too.

If I come across the car I will let you know.

There is the car I am talking about. Alittle farther than PA though. He told me that I could get the top for $1200 but I definately would talk him down, seeing that the top probably needs a coat of paint and a new headliner (just guessing on this one)

The BavarianautoRecycling/Engine guys are crooks that cater to people that don't know any better .
Sure they have lots of stuff but its always waay overpriced and they tend to try and mislead buyers at times .

Sort of like the AOL of the BMW recycling business . :D

Oh and OE hardtops are not apinted ...its a rubbery coating that you see .
Would have to be stripped completely and the fiberglass needs to be smoothed over if you wish to paint .

If you can print your own $$ then I'm sure you can still get a new one from BMW .

I did get a weird feeling when I was talking to them about a part. Also, I knew the hartops weren't painted but didn't know they had a rubbery coating over them. I would paint it any ways because Ryans is f*cking amazing.

It looks like you can get all the parts to repair or fix the top. I wish the PO didn't take my OE hardtop off and sell it before I bought it.
