Looking for 325ix engine to cat exhaust

Flex hose on my 1989 325ix has developed a crack after 240,000 miles. Dealer price is off the wall. Looking for alternatives, used or 3rd party.

Don't temp me with an engine......... Actually I found DEC cat with all gaskets and nuts for $550. Been driving my 318is all week. Lent my 325ix to my brother and I thought it got louder since he used it. Listening to it again today I should be OK for a while. Thanks,
