        i have the alarm that was instlled now removed

        i removed it because i didn't have the remote to it. its a hofco3 fully intact brain. let me know if this is what you are looking for.

          I'm pretty sure there was no fob with the e30 alarm. It is activated by the central locking system.

            depends on which alarm you had, the later models have a key fob.

              Hey Spaz, the pile of shit that passed as the later E30 alarm was made by Alpine...who finally pulled their collective heads out of their asses and quit making their shitbox alarms about 1998.

              Alpine made all of BMW accessory alarms around that era. These were NOT factory installed, but installed at the dealer or "Port" level. Many E36s were equipped with a plug, ready to plug in that pile of shit Alpuke alarm.

              If you find a brain that works (good fucking luck on that, trust me) you could buy the correct Alpine transmitter from Alpine, except those fags quit making them in 1998 also.

              My apologies to anyone who has an Alp alarms and likes it...or is offended by my ranting about what junk they are. They blow, and you know it. Scrap that junk carefully, buy ANY OTHER brand of alarm, you will have better everything.
