    just as a "did ya know":

    I found bosch fogs at the local auto shop in my town for my 325e back in the day - they were a direct fit for the stock BMW fogs which were broken at the time. I just tossed them in and tossed the unifit crap in the trash...done.

    You may have already tried this, and maybe you do not want bosch...but as an fyi I tought I would drop you a note.

      The early "is" fogs are Hellas, and they mount totally different than standard e30 fog lights. Instead of hanging from the bumper, they actually mount into the plastic airdam with adjuster screws.
