Man, you have been looking for this part for a long time. I ship larger parts often and maybe I can do this for you.

I understand where to cut it on the sides. Do you want the upper part cut behind the bumper?

Heres a pic of one ready to be mounted to an early body car. I need at least this much material left and I can do the final trimming. Thanks to those willing to help.

Whoever cuts this off for you should follow these lines:

Cutting through the double walled areas like the wheel well, battery tray, and frame rails can be a real chore. If you get this from a junk yard then make sure you bring as many extra batteries for your sawzall as you can, as you will use them up quick.

Something that I didn't see mentioned in the Project Facelift thread is that when the valance is cut to this shape it is very fragile and easily twisted because there is nothing stiffening the metal above the exhaust cutout. So keep this in mind so you don't make the same mistake I did and accidentally tweak the metal out of shape by not carefully handling the valance.

thanks for the insight. I've got someone who has the valence off of the car already and it has been twisted near the exhaust cutout just as you described. Is it easy to straighten or work with? or should I keep looking?
                thanks

I might be able to get it off my parts car, but shipping ain't gonna be easy. It's cinnabar red, and I need to look again to see if it's at all damaged, but I don't think so.

After seeing the newer photos of what you want I don't think it is going to happen for you. This is the kind of part you just have to find locally and do it yourself.

Most wrecks get hit in the front and there has to be a dead car around where you live that has the parts you need.
