WTB: In-tank fuel pump for an '86 eta

I need a functioning in-tank fuel pump for an 86 325. I'm trying to resurrect a car so I don't want to buy a new one in case it isn't salvageable. Let me know with shipping to 17003. Thanks.

i have one, however it is USED, it doesnt have that bottom filter like piece since it got lost somehow sitting on the shelf. I will need the part number if interested. While i cannot warranty it, i can give it to you for 20 shipped (21.50 paypal)

It did work fine when taken out of the car by the way, but its not like i can just test it real quick.

A working used one is exactly what I am looking for. Part number according to Real OEM is 16141179415. If your part number is compatible, I'll take it. Let me know. Thanks.

Any used pump that's sitting for too long is prone to failure. You will be much better off going witha brand new one.

I wish there was a way to prove that I'm not telling you this because I work at KO Performance selling new parts, but I do speak from experience. I bought an '85 318i that had been sitting for months.... wouldnt start up because of a bad pump. I bought two pumps from the junkyard... one was bad... the second one lasted me two weeks. All early model cars (pre-87 I think) used the same internal/external pumps.

Not worth all the hassle man.

        Part #: 16141179415-82
        KO Price: $150.07
        Shipping: $0.00 - FREE Shipping!
Stock Status: In Stock - Ready to Ship!

If you'd like to consider it. It's a big step, but from experience, I had a really hard time finding any used pump that would last on my car.

I appreciate your input. In fact when I get the car running I will probably replace both fuel pumps. The problem is the car has electrical issues. It has sat for 4 years. The reference sensors were reversed and the fusible link was bad. I don't want to put that kind of money in it until I know it will run. Once(if) I get it to start I'll decide what to do with it. I may end up parting it, but it's pretty straight so I thought I'd try to get it running first.
