wtb: patches from your parts car [asap]

Both driver and passenger side look like this. Some cancer also spread to the side/rocker panel area. So I would like to get it out all at once.

I would like for whomever, to cut where I highlighted in the picture. The end result would be a patch with the metal from the floor, side wall going up and down to the rocker panel area (including the fender mounting hole), and also the side facing the wheel well.

    This one speaks for itself.

passenger side rear wheel well were the battery tray is. Make it bigger of course.

Also directly above that area I need the bracket cut out where the ventilation tank is mounted too. make a decent size square around the whole mount.

I would be paying for your time and shipping obviously
You will need a proper cutting wheel to do this. A dremle will not cut it. Your cutting skills do not need to be good at all, just make sure the patches are well big enough, so I can cut/grind them down.

Please let me know asap, as my inspection is up and winter is approaching very soon.

    Thank you
    Jon

I would like them as soon as possible really. That way I can prepare the patches for perfect fit and notify my welder in advance. This all needs to be done before it starts to get cold, and also before I get a ticket for not having an inspection. With all those factors put into place, I would like to get this done pretty fast.

I can afford to pay a little extra if the patches can be made sooner, rather than later.

      let me know
      thanks
      Jon

      p.s

I forgot to thank you for the oil pan, and getting it to me fast, thank you!

hrm i'm doing the floors out of way too thick sheet metal and I'm replacing a lot more material than you. Maybe you've got a good idea going here but I'm too deep to turn around now and its good practice.

good luck wtith the hunt, I might be getting a parts e30 in the next couple of days, it's rusty but if it happens to be clean where you need it i'll let you know

Yeah, I figured this would be the best way. I actually aready had one patch made, but this way I can get them even better.

              Jon,

I've got what you need- and a nice sawzall to cut them with. Let me know if you don't have a deal going with someone already......

From the looks of it, matt has more than a sawzall.:p
I'll wait for him to respond to my pm, and see if he can do it.

                thanks for the offer

I'm not sure if matt is going to do it or not. He's been sayin he can do it, but its starting to be a "maybe tomorrow" type deal.

If anyone has a parts car, cutting disks, and can give me an estimate on when you can get it done (if you say you can do it within a week.. have it done within a week.), PM me and we can work out a deal. I'm not being cheap at all, you'll get your times worth.

I think Joe Funk is getting it done for me. I may possibly need 1/2 patches made up that he can not do. I'll let you know

                            thanks
