    WTB - Motronic 1.7.2 DME #282

    Wanted to buy:

Motronic version 1.7.2 DME out of an E36 318 application, must be between 1/94 and 12/94 manufacturer's date, number 282 with the red label. Part numbers from realoem are 12141247877 and 12141743251 for an uncoded unit - don't know if they would be the same.

    Thanks

I don't know what they are really worth in general - seems like the E30 units go for around $50 to $75. I also would venture to guess it would depend on what you want to part with it... If the condition is reasonably good and what not, I would give you $75 shipped for it. Do you know the history, pics, etc?

I know it came out of a running 94 318i, and I'll guarantee that it's in perfect working condition.

But, I can't sell it that cheap- I'll take $150 shipped for it.

        LMK.

        Thanks, Bret.

Yeah - I guess I can do that, fair enough. Just so long as this is a non-EWSII running on revision 1.7.2 then it will work, or it should and hopefully the answers I am looking for are in it... Let me know how you want payment and such - I can do paypal or whatever is easiest.

          Thanks,
          Dave

Edit: Actually, if you can either give me all the numbers off the case including VIN (on the stickers) then I should be able to verify it is the one I am looking for. Or a good pic of the stickers on it. There seems to be some question on which unit is actually correct for what we are looking for.

          Thanks
