hey i am looking to buy replacment carpet for my 2dr 86 325e. the previous owner took black interior paint to the carpet, front door panels, and rear side panels. it seems that it was a cream/tan color from the factory. is there any where to look other than bavauto? thanks

I would be really interested in seeing what options are out there too.
One major difference I have found is that early cars have the padding on the floor while later cars have the padding attached to the carpet.
We are not talking about some 1/2" thick crap here...it is serious padding, molded to make the floor flat...but it is an absolute bitch to remove.
