Bounced my car off a guard rail this morning :( need some parts

Unfortunately, I went in a little too hot for conditions on my morning commute this morning and bounced my car off a guard rail :(

Hit the front drivers corner and rear drivers corner. A brief visual inspection revealed I destroyed:
    -Hood
    -Drivers headlamp assembly
    -Drivers grill
    -Drivers headlamp support
    -Kidney beans
    -Drivers fender
    -Front bumper

    -Rear quarter
    -Rear bumper
    -Rear drivers tail light

I'd like to try to keep the repair cost to a min. and NOT involve the insurance company. So, what can you guys help me out with?

BTW, the car is a 91 318is. Color - Rotty Red

And i'm located in Charlotte, NC. So, shipping might not be cost effective on larger items, like a hood

    thanks!

You're going to spend more repairing it (ESPECIALLY with any damage to the rear) than you would on buying another e30. It's most definitely a total loss.

BOLD - Any bold text highlighted in your above quote, without pictures, AND an act of god, Your e30 is most assuredly a total loss, as posted above. Sorry to be the 2nd bearer of bad news.

Yeah, youre getting into non-cosmetic stuff, like the "headlight support" and rear quarter. You need to get insurance involved. You don't want to spent the money to fix this.

I know it's a bit early, but can we consider this the first Winter R3v of the year?

hey now......eh, I've got nothing. It was my fault....guess I'll call my insurance company and see what they say.

If they total it, wonder what they'll want for me to buy it back. Beyond the damage, the car is in great shape....and rust free

Search for a post from m3fan4eva, IIRC. He redid a rear qtr and the pics are a mild DIY. It can be done.

Sounds like a total to me too. I wouldn't even get the insurance invloved. Find you another e30 swap over what parts you want to keep and part out the rest.

Didn't we just hit fall like a month back?

I'll give it winter since we have a bit of snow at our ski areas, but it's not even Halloween yet.

My little warped head has winter starting right after I make a gluttonous pig of myself on Thanksgiving. Or at least the week of Thanksgiving.

Sorry to hear you R3v'ed it, whatever season it it.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

                            just look at my sig..

The rear damage blows, but you guys that are throwing hissy fits about the front end damage are out of line.

Entrance ramp to 485 East from Rea road. If you know the turn, it's quite a fun little curve. It's a little off camber, as you come around the turn, your car will rotate slightly as it comes through. A little lift-throttle counter-steering and it's easily catch-able. I've done it several times in the S2000 and the WRX, even.

But today, I must have gone in a little too hot for conditions. I did slow down to acct for the rain. But me not being familiar with the car in the rain (it's barely rained here this summer), combined with conditions = rotate into guard rail :(
