v12 manual tranny 850

ok i have not had very good luck in selling my v12 engine so i think i might just say fuck it and put it in my 89 vert. i just need to find a tranny for it. i want a manual tranny for it.

v12 vert??!!! Oo..this would be good. Can the vert's chassis even take that?

i don't know but if i cant sell this thing i might not do the turbo m50 and do the v12 instead.

I've only seen one 850 with a 6 speed manual.

yeah i saw one go for 500 on ebay once, i wished i had some way to come up with the money at that time.

does anyone know if the 850 tranny has a removable bell housing. if so i might be able to get it to bolt on to a 265 which would hold up fine.

i think it's a really interesting swap and i'm always open to new ideas, but the 50/50 will be totally shot, you can't work on the engine even if you wanted to, and the chassis probably won't handle the torque.

The V12 manual trannies are going to be a rare find. Good luck and keep us posted.
