    WTB: 4HP22 auto trans

I'm looking for a trans to replace the one in my 745i. All the research I have shows that they are the same in the E30 and the 745i. I'll be in the Abingdon, VA area this winter, and I can pick it up withing a decent radius. Let me kow, as I'll have to wait until after the 17th of december to come and get it. I'll bring cash.

      they're different...

      is yours a 4hp22EH or normal 4hp22?
can you take the plug off and count the # of pins? it should be either 7 or 8.

      I think I have a couple 8pin trannys

I've got one and am getting ready to swap to 5 speed, low mileage tranny out of an '89 i. I'd probably go $125 picked up.
