Ebay is your best friend for this. I picked my set-up for my e30 for $150 brand new, with 1 bike tray.

I have a thule no key but I just unbolt the 3 screws and manual loosen the nuts.. Mounts fine and has windscreen. I dought I would ever use it on my M3 or 74 02.

Did BMW have an option for a BMW branded roof rack? I find some now and then for E36 fitment. Was kind of curious if it would fit our cars.

I have a Yakima set-up with Q-towers or SST towers with the appropriate clips and 48" crossbars for an E30. There aren't any lock cores, though. I think I still have bike trays somewhere as well.
