    WTB: 89-91 M20 head OR m20 engine

I have 89 325 vert that I bought, the timing belt broke and it bent the valves...
so, I am looking for a complete head or cheap motor (engine has to be in NY/NJ area)

Let me know what you got
    thanks

87-88 "i" heads are the same as the '89-91 "i" heads.

Might open up your options a little... ;)

I have a cylinder head (a couple actually)... $150 plus ship as is, or $500 rebuilt by aluminum head rebuilders. www.aluminumheads.com

fo real. I have super eta pistons and rods, but I'm no help if you want to do the 3.1 though
(which I've heard is pretty badass, but never taken it for a spin)

Don't take any offense to this, but you spend bookoo bucks on rebuilding your cars to immaculate condition, but neglected to perform the single most important maintenance job on the motor?

are you talking to me? If so, every car that I have gone thru had the complete tune-up / maintainence thing (new timing belt, water pump, tensioner, thermostat, belts, filters, spark plugs, etc..etc...)... I am going to be building a turbo motor and need spare parts for the project, that's all

I read it as him having BOUGHT a car with a broken timing belt...

just another way to read the same sentence.

Duh! My bad... I totally misread it. My mind wasn't completely with me then, as I was in the office alone, while the world went home early for the long weekend. :p
