This guy got banned from BFC for this shit.

Now, I have no problem if someone wants to buy used cats for whatever reason- but I think this guy is just trying to lowball and see if anyone bites.

Regardless, I don't think he even owns a "beemer".

If you want to buy cats, why not post up a list of the prices you're willing to pay and maybe someone will want to sell to you- otherwise get lost.

lowball??? i'm being honest about what i'm using them for. i'm not on here to lowball people. in fact here is my garauntee...pm me with the price you're currently getting, and i GARAUNTEE i'll beat it by at least $15 per cat. that can be a huge amount for people who get a lot of them. i'm not on here to lowball like a lot of other guys...i will give you the FAIREST price. i see it as helping people get rid of some junk/scrap that may be laying around...and benefitting the both of us. how am i harming anyone by doing this?

you're being EXTREMELY vague in your initial posts- and I think it's intentional.

If you want to buy cats for recycling, why ask for "exhaust midsections"??????? People know the difference between a cat and a midsection.

Why not be up front about it and post up what you'll pay for the following common BMW cats:

                    '89 325i cat
                    '86 325e cat
                    '95 M3 cats (2 per car)
                    '92 325i cats (2 per car)

I've got these cats available for purchase, and I'd be really interested to see what you can offer. Please specify if your offer includes shipping cost or if you cover that.

I understand that the price fluctuates daily, so I don't expect your quote to be good for more than a couple of days, maybe a week.

                    Thanks, Bret.

Ok so now Im curious as to the market of used cats, not the meowing kind either...

Typically what do they go for, as I have a 91 318is and 84 325e (if it even has one)

This is an E30 forum, you don't have an e30 (probably not a 95 M3, either), so don't come around just to do some catalytic converter business here.

Do you know what an e30 is?

"can be from a couple years" <---?????

BTW, my cat is worth $310 at my local scrapyard, what can you give me for that?
