Wanted: set of jacks, fuel pump....

    Heylo,

gonna need some jack stands. I looked around at the local autohaus' and they are all made in china, i'd rather relieve some used ones than feed that damn nation's mouth. four would be fine, 1000kg ones. (2 ton)

also gonna need a m20 late fuel pump. mine's making the sounds of death. pretty good condition one, please.

also a interior light fixture that plugs into the headliner. thanks

You're wanting to buy a used set of Chinese jack stands?

    And a used fuel pump?

    Why?

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

Hah...I figure it would be better to buy some unused ones, that have already been bought, than to dish out for new ones. And it is better to make use of some unused ones...

Fuel pump? because a new one is too expensive for me. I already have suspension work I have to save for (have all the stuff) and water leak in the passenger bay to worry about. Doesn't help with the USA economy and wages these days.

Just ordered 4 of these on Friday. They'll last you a lifetime; truly a good investment.

Just comb your local Craigslist for jack stands. You might be able to find a set of vintage stands that were made in the good ole US of A, and you can save on the cost of shipping.

Or, you could just go to Sears and get a set of four 3 ton stands for $40-50.

Fred, no such fortune. Been scouring for the past month, nothing. Some truck jack stands turned up but they were sold before I could respond. Too bad too, since they were six tonners. Probably means they could take a car being knocked on top of them.

Ramps...Humm...Nah...can't do suspension work with the the suspension loaded.
