Getrag 260 from 325i/is (NC, SC, TN, GA only)...

For a friend... his early model cabrio is about to lose it's tranny and he's looking for one in NC, SC, TN, or GA. I believe he is fairly flexible in terms of price, but is wanting a fairly low mileage tranny if at all possible. Any leads are appreciated.

I've got an 89k "i" tranny in Hickory. Out of a wrecked '89 325i. Shoot me an offer.

    Thanks.

Fantastic. I'll shoot my friend an e-mail and ask what he would offer and I'll PM you with the amount. Let me know if anything changes regarding its availibility.

Nah, nothing will change regarding it's availibility. It's been in a box where my car has been stored for a good ~6 months now. I dont see that changing any time soon, unless of course your friend wants it. It needs a good home.

            Jesus man, not the tranny!

Your car isnt a 4x4 monster like mine, you really shouldnt be climbing big obstacles like transmissions. Start small with something like say... a hood.
