Steering Lock - Non-Airbag car Wanted

    Hey all,

I need the thing the ignition switch plugs into. I also need the wiring that plugs into the other side of the ignition switch. It is removed by slotting the shear bolt under the steering column and removing the steering wheel and stalks. Name a reasonable price and I'll pay pal ya.

Pictures of what I need exactly are below.

    Thanks guys!

    John,

How soon do you need it? If it can wait until one day next week before I send it, I am pretty sure I got it for you.

I have a steering column out of an 89 in my garage, but it has the steering wheel on it (locked!) and the key is actually on the key ring for my Spec Car - which is at the shop still.

      Dave -

Does it have the wiring too (the left side of the cylinder - including the plug on both sides)? Mine has a cracked tab on the part that attaches to the cylinder side, which makes starting it touch and go.

I'll tell you a funny story about it. Right now, it is iffy on starting (as described above), and when you have to turn the key to start it, you have to manually turn it back to run from start (doesn't do it automatically like it should). All this is aftermath from the theft 18 months ago.

So, we go to Roebling. First outing with the Spec exhaust. 2nd day, 2nd session - my wife pulls the car in - bad electical smell. Open the hood - big smoke! Turns out, she did about 10 minutes with the key in the start position. Luckily, the teeth of the starter are softer than the teeth of the flywheel. Ever change a starter? SUCKS! With the new exhaust, we couldn't hear that the starter was still engaged!

I don't know a fair price for it - 50 bucks PayPal including shipping to 34683? Let me know if I am off with that....I'd like to have it here by Friday so I can get it on with room for the IFU2 (if we go).

      Let me know - thanks!

Yeah - I think it does. I will know Monday for sure - and if its intact - that is a fair price and I'll ship it such to ensure it gets to you in time.

            I got both.
