What's low mileage for a diff that is between 20 and 25 years old? Something in the 150,000+ range? I'll remove the rear cover and inspect the insides, replace the cover with the E30 unit and reseal it. I'll paint the case if it's needed, but prefer to leave the BMW factory finish. I'll switch the stub axles to the smaller E30 units. I can replace both of the output axle seals for an additional $25.

This is "plug and play" for the E30 cars. I've sold maybe 50 LSD diffs for the E30 / E28 in the last few years and everyone is happy with the deal.

I also have other ratios from time to time, but the prices are different depending on how rare the ratio is.
