I was looking for the same thing...I am now thinking about using a rear valence from Eurostop. About $200, require pro level fitting, but I think I can handle it.

OK, I don't know if I can hotlink from Ary's site, but he is a forum sponsor, so just hit F5 until his banner pops up at the top of the screen.

        This is the "MTechII" version:

        This is the "Hartge":

Both are $195/ea. Both are fiberglass. I would not want fiberglass on the front of my car, but sides or rear, no worrries.

So yeah, I like them. All bodykits are pure rice, but WTF, so is paint.

Hey, I just noticed...you asked for an early fitment...not for the 'vert?

My understanding is that the 'verts all have a late rear.

And Johnwoo, those are on late cars, I assume they are made for them, I dunno.

I know I have excellent fiberglass skills, and Dad was a bodyman for 50 years...I can make it happen.

From what i gather up on this site, is that pre 90 vert have early model rear. Therefore we do not have the stock rear valence and would need a rear apron to fill in the empty area if we upgrade our db to plastic bumper. Can you someone confirm this?

So which rear apron you planning to get Luke? Is there a such thing as a RD style rear apron?

Keep in mind that the whole reason I would be buying one of these is so I DON'T chop up a damn clean 1988 shell that is sitting at my shop, just so I can have the rear valence.

Which one? I think I like the MTechII better, but if it gets down to decision time, I will ask the 'choppers to do both on my car, see which one is gooder.

I totally agree man, I think chopping off the rear valence and fabing it up to the early body is such a hassle.

Hope to see some pics when you decide which rear apron you go with.

I was wondering have you heard or seen a Racing dynamic style rear apron? The more I think about it, I've never seen a hartge rear apron a cabrio. Only seen the mtech 2 rear apron.:)

I worked at a shop that did RD back in the day. They did quite a few 6ers in RD, but only 1 or 2 3ers. I do remember liking them, but quite a few bong hits between then and now.

All verts have the "late model" rear end. This refers to the design of the wheel well, not the lack of an apron. The vert's that came with DB's( up to mid-90's mfg date?) don't have a apron/valance as you know, making it look unfinished if you convert to plastics.

Here is a pic of mine I just installed. Sorry for the crappy shot, if you want a better one, PM me. This is from Filip at Eurostyle in Canada. I don't have his number, but look on maxbimmer. Call him, don't email, he never seems to check his email.
