WTB: E36 m50 parts

I need to confirm which one I need I guess. How exactly are they different? Since I am converting to OBD1 wouldn't I want one from a 93-95 m50?

Someone mentioned this "You will need an M52 vanos solenoid. The early vanos systems were 3 positon the later ones were constanly variable."

While they may be different, you are using OBD-I parts/wiring/ECU. The OBD-II connectors are different for the most part.

So how do people deal with this when they go M52/S52 to OBD1??
