Dealership is probably your best bet, it's what I had to do. I think they are around $160 per seat for both elements.

I have a buddy who pulled the entire heated seat setup out of a JY car. We had to cut the carpet all the way up to the dash to get it all out. I'll see if he is interested in selling it.

Yes, there's 2 elements in each seat. 1 in the back and 1 under your ass. $160.

Could you use some from an E36 Vert? I have a full front set drivers and pass sides that work and they are 2 stage heating pads similar to the E30's (I wouldnt see it being an issue) fitment wise it could be done and the wiring would still be very similar.

You can have them for cheap if you like $60 for both sets, I have no use for them.

You can also buy universal ones, although you would have to do some wiring work.
