I need a front air dam for my 1987 325is. Actually all I need are the 5 support brackets that keep it suspended. the dealer has no idea of what I'm asking for so I hope someone here does. I don't really know what style of air dam it is. I think it's an M tech but not sure. To describe it, to look at it head on it's rectangular with the upper two thirds tappering inward and then it flares out but now abruptly. There are four middle air vents plus two more under the foglight mounting holes. If any of you know this type or where I can buy the brackets please let me know. Thanks

Those brackets are NLA (No Longer Available) new from BMW, or anywhere else. Good luck finding them as they seem to turn to dust if you look at them sideways.
You should be able to fab something up to replace them- there was a guy who (well maybe more than 1 guy) who promised to start making replacements but I don't think it ever happened. -
