    WTB: Stock radio harness

Looking to purchase a stock radio harness. Mine was cut by a previous owner. Would like the plug and as much wiring (~6") as possible so I can repair my harness. It should plug into this (this is the radio side, I need the car side):

    Hi,

I'm parting out a mtechII 92 vert, when I removed the radio it still had all the stock harness in place. I've taken the dash out so I can cut it long. Do you know if the harness on the 90 is the same. Do you have a more head on picture of the connector you posted so I can see if it's the same?

I don't own a digital camera unfortunately, I found that picture online.

The pins form an approximate "L" shape of 2 rows, with a single pin opposite the center of the L. Does that make sense? If you've got a picture of your vert's harness, I could certainly tell from that.

      Thanks for the quick response!

What's the word? I'd really like to get a working radio back in the car.

I've been busy with work didn't get a chance to check it. I'll take a pic of the back of the radio so you can see how the plugs are setup. The harness I pulled off the radio is not just one piece it's made up of a few different plugs that plug into the radio. The radio was stock so it's stock harness just whether yours is the same is the question. I'll try to post one later today

Would like to get this done soon, the commute isn't as fun with no radio.

That plug is not for a stock harness. That is the adapter to fit certain radios into the e30 chassis. The stock radio wiring is about 6 different wires/plugs depending if you have the premium sound package. That plug goes into the radio, and gives you those wires to splice into the existing e30 stock wiring.

Going to have to respectfully disagree with you. The plug that goes into the aftermarket radio is white, 1/10th the size, and features exceedingly small pinouts. It also has 6" of wiring, which you splice into the plug I posted, and that plug ties to the factory harness.

My car does not have the premium sound system. Perhaps that is the difference?

I will try to borrow a friend's digital camera to post pictures, maybe that will help.

                      SF,

Thanks for getting back to me. That doesn't look like the plug, maybe yours is the premium setup also.

As I mentioned, I was going stir crazy from not having a radio, and I found a place that sells them on ebay. Similar to this:

But $8, shipped. So I'm all set.

                      Thanks all!
