    WTB: modified E36 steering rack

    Anyone have one for sale that has been modified to fit our cars?

    you don't need to modify it. you need to modify the steering linkage that is in your car, and use spacers when u bolt the steering rack to the front subframe. oh and the hydraulic lines will be off by alittle so you'll need to bend that too.

      I have one that I'm looking to sell. It leaks badly, so you would have to have it rebuilt or run it as a manual rack. I have some tierods for it, but the boots are torn up. 3.2 turns lock to lock. Looking for $75 + shipping; PM me if you are interested.

      It is not modified in any way, and it will come with the splined flex joint.
