    WTB bare LSD carrier

I have a good medium-case diff with 4.10s in great condition. I need just the limited-slip carrier, sans case or gearset, in good to excellent metal condition. Worn clutches are perfectly OK, as I will be doing a full rebuild.

I'm sure I've got a worn out diff I can disassemble

Anything with limited slip is OK. Are all BMW med case carriers the same offset? I mean, they can all use different gearsets without spacers/shims? The domestic stuff I've dealt with often has two carrier offsets depending on the original gear ratio. PM me with details. Thanks!

There are tons of BMW diffs that you can get the LSD carrier from.

Off the top of my head:

        any e30 6 cyl or e30M3 (I'd avoid the 2.93, I *think* they have a different carrier)
        any e28 (except M5)
        any e34 (except 540i + M5)
        any 6 cyl E32
        any e23/e24

That should find you something. Basically just avoid the low numerical ratio LSD's (2.79/2.93), the small case 4 cyl diffs (318i, etc) and the large case diffs generally found in the V8/V12 and some //M cars and you'll be OK.
