    WTB: E30 M3 5 lug setup

    Hello everybody
I am looking for E30 M3 5 lug setup. I already have the E36 M3 5 lug setup but I don't want to mess with the complications of installing those.
    Thanks

Finding these used are like finding a unicorn at the end of a rainbow that has a pot of gold with a leprechaun waiting for you to claim it...

You will be better off if you are in a hurry by just buying everything new. If you shop at the right places for new parts it will generally cost you about $500ish more to go new over what a used complete setup will cost. The only thing you will have to source (again very hard to find since they are NLA) is the front and rear brake carriers and calipers. But you can do a BBK kit instead...

      Good Luck!

The prices for new parts recently skyrocketed...

If you wanted to use the e36 fronts, I have a set of the larger m Coupe TAs and axles with the bigger brakes etc I might be willing to let go...

WOW that sucks... I know when I bought my new parts 6 months ago there was about $500 difference between new prices and what a used setup was going for when you could get lucky enough to find one.

From the dealer, the housings and steering arms are $1000 per side.

                Thanks guys
Well, I work at a BMW dealer and still thigs are expensive. I have seen complete setups for around $1500.
New will cost much more even with my employee discount. If the difference was $500, I sure would buy new.

Concord BMW? Does Manerto (probably spelled wrong) still work there?

This place is like catholic school, 2/3 of the students smoke weed on a daily basis, but the faculty seems to convince the outside world that drugs are just in the other schools, the resident pot dealer thinks he's cool because he has the originality to call anyone he doesn't like a homosexual, and most of the little children follow him like sheep, then there's the few with brains, you hardly ever hear from them, perhaps don't even know they exist, but they get all the sh!t done.

He used to be a mechanic there 5 years ago...

you could just buy new H&R coil overs.

I believe the core deposit is $600

Will they supply the strut housings/spindles for the $600 core?

It comes as one piece. You would still need to buy the knuckle on each side, bearings, and brake calipers etc.

I've got all of the stuff that you mentioned. One of my strut housings is bent and I'm debating whether I should buy new OEM strut housings and keep running my Koni/Vogtland setup or just upgrade to coilover's all around.

Glad that was mentioned.. it's good to know more options.
