    WTB: M42 Fuel Pump

    EDIT: found one.

    91 318is - Part Number: 16141181075

I'd prefer not to buy a used one, but if someone has a good price on a low mileage pump then I am interested. I'd just like to beat the $250 tag on a new one.

OR, Does anyone know if the pump out of a late 325i would work on my 318s? I'm assuming that the fuel rate on the 325i pump would be different?

The acutal pump itself can be bought from NAPA for $40. You will have to solder the leads, but it is far more cost-effective than buying an OE one.
