You may want to make it more clear that you are looking for the actual driveshaft and NOT the big Guibo .

this wont work, go to realoem.com to double check these dates but i believe the build dates are

          6/86 to 9/87

          but double check that

also you can do what i did, but i dont know if its a permeant fix yet...
87 535is front half, stock back half, make a bracket to move the CSB and cut about an inch off the back half... it doesnt shake, but i can't say how safe it is... there is alot of spline contact tho

swapping is difficult i heard, and also i heard the small guibo can get torn up faster but i have only "heard" i have no experience. I would just go for the proper large guibo 325e driveshaft.

Why didn't you just cut the front half?

Swapping the output flange isn't that hard, but it requires the special thin walled socket and an impact gun (not really required, but it makes it so much easier).

you know what i did cut the front, now that i think about it. Honestly i try not to think about it as much as possible...

i cut the female half the part that goes over

If yopu are having trouble locating one just buy a regular driveshaft from either a manula "e" or "i" and just swap in the smaller trans output flange and new Guibo .

No worries about tearing up the normal "i" Guibo .
Do it and be done already .
