    WTB Euro Valence

The early-late kind, found on euro cars in '86 and '87.

    Looks like:

Does not need to have fogs or good paint, cheaper is naturally better.

I want the same. Thinking it may be easier to make one out of late DB (vert?) valance. Just need to weld up the opening on each side, and then cut out fog holes. Then we can finally use this sport lip that we have.

Quit competing with me for this scarce resource! :p

The problem with the DB valence is that it isn't tall enough to house foglights, even if you do some creative cutting... and there's always the allure of OEM without hackjobbery.

That's the early-early kind, put on euro e30s from '83 to late '85. I already have one of those... the sport lip doesn't fit it.

Haha. No competing yet. I don't even have an early model yet!!!!!!

So you're saying the DB valance isn't the same shape/size?? Have you checked out what sdcabrio had done to his? Yes, it may be difficult to make it an exact copy for the fogs, but it could work.

Here's an option. I've been emailing with Mel at AMS re: a used valance Schmeidmann has on their website. He told me if they still have it the next time he has a container shipped over, he'll add it.

PM me your email addy if you can't find one, and i'll forward the emails we've exchanged, and you can try and get it.
            Here's the link: http://www.schmiedmann.com/3_series/.../Bodyparts.htm

I'll have a contact in Germany soon;) who can find me one next year when i need one

BTW, the one you posted has cutouts in the middle, where the other one doesn't. Didn't know there were two different kinds.

Duh, I've even priced it out. Not sure why I didn't mention that. Maybe he has also but wants something cheap? $250 aint bad for this new part Kronus.
