I have the regular silver ones. That I am aware BMW never sold gold meshies unless refinished by a dealer before selling it.

I don't doubt that, but is it a factory option or a dealer option? Huge difference in that.

Don't know the answer for sure but I have seen it in E30 accessory brochures.
